ESB Networks Customer Information:

ESB Networks is investing in excess of €4m to upgrade 180km of the electricity network between New Ross and Campile village. This upgrade will strengthen the network, provide a more resilient network for customers, ensure more protection against severe weather events and overall, provide a better quality of service for all our customers in the surrounding area.

We would like to inform customers that planned outages to facilitate the network upgrades are scheduled to take place from Tuesday 30th April up to and including Saturday, 11th May. All customers impacted by planned outages have been notified in advance via post with the time and date of the outage in their locality, updates on the status of the outage can be viewed on powercheck.ie

This upgrade will increase the capacity of the network aswell as improving the reliability of hte network.  Affected areas include parts of Campile to the outskirts of New Ross (not including the town itself) along with townlands including Ballinavary, Ballinteskin, Ballykelly, Ballyverroge, Ballyhack, Fruit Hill, Great Island, Rose Hall and Slaught. The works will take place on an area-by-area basis over a two week period.
