Switch it Off

• Ensure all electrical / IT equipment is turned off at the end of the day
• Switch off unused appliances in the canteen / office space
• Encourage Staff to take the stairs during peak hours to reduce the number of elevator journeys at peak hours
• Encourage staff to unplug unnecessary power cables, screens or electrical appliances during peak hours

2000 monitors & laptops, 20 large screens, 20 printers = ~6000kWh

Be Smart with Space and Lighting

• Optimise Office working space.
• Implement lighting / heating areas within offices
• Implement lighting motion sensors within offices

Only using selected meeting rooms and appliances. Switching 200 lights to LEDs = 60kWh

Make Employees ‘Champions'

• Pick selected employees to be ‘Energy Champions’ to help with the implementation of pledges

• Engage & Educate staff to help them understand the peak & shifting energy usage
