Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I request access to the following records:
 1.  Any internal reports, briefing notes, or analysis (from 2020 to present) assessing the impact of population growth and/or migration on electricity demand in Ireland.
 2.  Forecasts or projections of electricity demand that explicitly incorporate population or migration assumptions.

I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act2014 for access to records held by ESB Networks DAC in its capacity as licensed Distribution System Operator.I request the following:
 1. A register or listing of all distribution-connected generators (MIC/MEC holders) with a fuel type or technology classification of biomass, biogas, anaerobic digestion, biomass CHP, or bioenergy, including projects that are:   - Currently connected and generating   - Contracted but not yet connected   - Where connection offers have been issued but not accepted, or have expired
 2. For each such generator, I request the following fields to the extent they are held:   - Generator/project name   - Connection reference number   - Location (townland, county, and/or connected substation)   - Maximum Export Capacity (MEC) in MW   - Technology/fuel type   - Date of connection offer   - Date of connection agreement (if signed)   - Current connection status (connected / contracted / offer expired / withdrawn)   - Whether the generator holds or held a REFIT support contract
 3. Any records showing generators that were contracted under REFIT III (biomass CHP, biomass combustion, or anaerobic digestion categories) where the connection offer or agreement has since lapsed, been surrendered, or remains unexercised.

I would like a copy of the planned & unplanned outages information for the period 2021-2024 inclusive, as issued to Ireland South MEP, Cynthia Ní Mhurchú. I would also like the exact same information, for the years 2020 & 2025. Effectively, this is 5 years worth of data. I would like the data in tabular format, in spreadsheet (.XLSX) files as appropriate.

I am seeking access to the following environmental information relating to Garracummer Wind Farm, Hollyford, Co. Tipperary:
 1. The full legal name and CRO number of the entity (SPV) that ESB Networks:
 • entered into the Connection Agreement with,
  • issued the Commissioning.      
 Certificate to, and  
• energised for the purposes of exporting electricity to the grid.
 2. A copy of the Connection Agreement for Garracummer Wind Farm, including any amendments or successor agreements.
 3. A copy of the Commissioning Certificate issued for Garracummer Wind Farm.
 4. A copy of the Safety Responsibility Agreement (or equivalent document) identifying the legal entity responsible for operational safety at the point of connection.
 5. The MPRN(s) associated with Garracummer Wind Farm.
 6. The date of energisation and confirmation of the legal entity in whose name energisation was carried out.

- any incident reports, post-incident reviews, root cause analyses, or similar such records relating to a glitch that saw incorrect electricity usage readings being issued to customers.
- any internal reports or briefing documents prepared for senior management or the board relating to the issue.
- any correspondence between ESB Networks and the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) relating to the issue.
- a record/spreadsheet/database indicating the number of customers affected by the issue.

I wish to apply to you under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2014 for thefollowing details in relation to Cahermurphy Windfarms Ltd., Mid Clare Renewable EnergyLtd. and Mid Clare Renewable Energy DAC of Cahermurphy, Kilmihil, Co. Clare.
1. A copy of all details in relation to Standard Connection Agreements Numbers *** and *** between ESB Networks DAC and these three companies.
2. A copy of all correspondence between ESB Networks DAC and these three companies.
3. All copy of all details including internal memos, reports, assessments, emails and phone records in relation to how ESB Networks DAC satisfied itself that appropriate environmental and planning consents are in place for the part underground, part overground, existing grid connection between Cahermurphy windfarm sub-station and the Booltiagh receiving sub-station.
4. A copy of all details including internal memos, reports, assessments, emails and phone records in relation to how ESB Networks DAC satisfied itself that appropriate environmental and planning consents are in place for the proposed replacement underground grid connection across private lands and public road between Cahermurphy windfarm sub-station and the Booltiagh receiving sub-station.
5. A copy of all details including internal memos, reports, assessments, emails and phone records in relation to any queries which ESB Networks DAC made of the above companies as to why the only grid connection route assessed in EIA and AA was not used to connect to the Booltiagh sub-station as proposed in the planning application (and ABP/ACP appeal) for this windfarm development.

I request access to all records held by ESB Networks relating to this incident, including, but not limited to, the following: 1.Any incident reports created in respect of the fallen cable2.All call logs, fault reports, or notifications received in relation to the cable prior to and on 1 February 20263.Dispatch records, including times of call receipt, crew mobilisation, and arrival on site4.Maintenance, inspection, and repair records relating to the relevant line/pole5.Any records relating to the cause of the cable failure6.Any internal communications (including emails or internal notes) relating to the incident7.Any risk assessments or safety assessments relevant to this section of the network8.Any records confirming whether the cable was live at the relevant time For the avoidance of doubt, I am requesting all records, whether held electronically or otherwise, relating to this incident, including records created both before and after the incident.

Requester wishes to find out more information on the number of large energy users that are connected to the network in Ireland to support our business planning. Requesting following:Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I request access to the following records held by ESB Networks regarding technical standards and infrastructure management.While this request pertains to general policy, I provide my MPRN: [Insert your 11-digit number here] for technical context regarding the specific 1983 legacy infrastructure (8kVA looped service) involved.
Request Details:
1.Technical Policy & Standards: All internal technical standards, guidance notes, or safety protocols issued to technicians between 2022 and 2026 regarding the installation of Smart Meters and 7kW EV chargers specifically on legacy 8kVA (35-Amp) looped services.

Technical logs from the day of the fire (11 Nov 2024) and all internal emails regarding the 15-month delay.

 All call recordings related to this case and internal dispute/escalation logs from the Dublin North Area Manager’s office throughout 2025.

 Technical 'Job Notes' & Site Reports: All field-service notes from the 2023 Smart Meter and meter tail upgrades, specifically any record of the loop/8kVA constraint being checked.

 Photographic Evidence: Any photos taken by technicians of my meter cabinet, service fuse, or internal tails during site visits in 2023, Nov 2024, and any subsequent management inspections.

 Technical Test Reports: Mr Alan Page’s email mentions that a "number of tests" were done on the property. We require the full data, dates, and official results of every test performed on the assets at our property to date.

 Forensic Fire Analysis: Any internal report or email discussion attempting to classify the fire as an "overload" vs. a "loose connection."

 Neighbourhood Asset Map: A copy of the network map for my street showing the "looped" connections.

Requester is looking for mapped information of overhead and underground services that you have in the general vicinity (between the Douglas and the South Douglas Road, around Rathmore Lawn and Ballincurrig Park, Cork City) shown in attached images, and then with particular interest in the property outlined 'data request 3'.

Requester purchased the property in 2024, the previous owner was paying the electricity bill until then. They are looking for confirmation of low usage to confirm the property was vacant.

Worksheets or other calculations (like excel spreadsheets or database tables or SQL queries or other code and related documentation) which was used to derive the specific DUoS tariffs published by ESB Networks in 2025 and 2024, this derivation having been carried out in accordance with the publicly available methodology document mentioned above.

Under the FOI Act 2014, I am seeking the following:- a database/spreadsheet/record of incidents where ESB electricity poles, lines, substations, or other electricity network infrastructure were struck or damaged by vehicles in each of the years 2024 and 2025.- the estimated cost of repairs associated with these incidents for each of the same years.- records showing the ten most expensive incidents involving vehicle collisions with ESB Networks infrastructure during this period, including the repair cost and location of each incident.- any internal reports, summaries, or statistics held by ESB Networks relating to vehicle collisions with electricity infrastructure during the same period.

We request all records held by ESB Networks DAC relating to the above-mentioned property from 9th July 2018 to present, including but not limited to:
All wayleave applications, agreements, consents, or permissions sought or obtained for access to, or works on, the said lands;
All correspondence (letters, emails, phone logs, meeting notes) between ESB Networks and any third party (including but not limited to the previous landowner/farmer neighbour) regarding this property;
All records of works carried out on the lands, including:

Installation of electricity poles, cables, or any other infrastructure;

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, we are requesting data related to the areas and boundaries used to determine domestic electricity customers within the Distribution Use of System groups DG1 and DG2.These records could be presented as a list of coordinates, electoral divisions, townlands, or any specific geographical units used by ESB Networks to classify DG1 and DG2 areas, and their corresponding group (DG1 or DG2).We would also accept a list of DG1 areas only, assuming that all other regions would be classified as DG2 for domestic electricity customers.
