Through our public consultations, we seek to actively inform, engage and hear from our customers and stakeholders, so that we are better informed in our decision-making and management of the electricity network.
Local Business Flex is an initiative that will offer two flexibility products to support our net zero targets through demand-side response. The planned launch is September 2026, with contracts running until the end of 2030. Procurement will follow a direct‑award approach and will remain open for approximately one year after launch. This initiative is aimed at non‑domestic customers and will be deployed in selected localised areas. These locations will be confirmed in the coming months and published ahead of the launch.
