I am requesting the following information under the Freedom of Information Act

In the last 12 months the number of power outage for the Corlea/Derrykillew are in Ballyshannon Co Donegal

• How many of these outages were planned
• How many of these outages were unplanned
• The length in hours and minutes for each outage
• The cause of each outage where known
• What has been undertaken to rectify each outage

I am requesting a copy of all documents, reports, verbal records, email records, postal records, memos, or any other record format in relation to any complaints or data of supply network spikes/power surges/disruptions/high voltages/low voltages/ faults/effects.

The locality we are interested in is in the townland of Powerfield, Fedamore, Co Limerick, on the 26th, 27th and 28th February 2022.

I live in the village of Aughrim, County Wicklow. Over the past 6 to 7 months we have unfortunately had approx 7 faults from the Kilmagig sub station which can affect over 2,000 customers at a time. I would like to know (The Freedom of Information Act 2014 (FOI Act)) as to why this fault is occurring in such high frequency and what does the ESB plan to do in terms of overcoming this issue. It would be beneficial if you can supply the information and register the complaint and query without the use of the FOI Act. 

Twice over the last two weeks we have had to deal with power outages in our areas. It impacts our village businesses to the order that they must close. We have to drive 35 kilometres in total, in order to get warm food. 

As a community we are entitled to know what the cause of these faults is and how and when it will be remedied with an upgrade etc to the Kilmagig station.

1. All records relating outages of plant and lines at Glassmore substation, which resulted in the disconnection of more than 1000 customers, in the period from 00:00 on 16 September 2022 to 23:59 on 16 January 2023, to include, in relation to each outage:

• the start and end time of the outage;
• the level in the network at which the outage occurred 110 kV,. 38kv;
• the specific cause of the outage;
• whether any relevant redundant plant or lines were out of service at the time of the outage and whether or not that contributed to the outage;
• whether any recommendations were made to reduce the likelihood of a reoccurrence of similar outages and, if so, whether those recommendations have been implemented or are planned to be implemented;
• whether the tripped breakers are capable of being closed against full load or whether breakers at a lower level need to be opened first; and
• whether the relevant breakers can be closed remotely, or whether a crew needs to be dispatched and where a crew would normally be dispatched from.

2. All records relating to whether there is any redundancy in the plant and lines supplying the Lusk area from       Glasmore  and identifying single points of failure in the supply to Lusk.

1. The total number of accounts that have fallen into arrears between 20/02/22 and 11/01/23.
2. How much money was spent by the ESB on debt collection services between 20/02/22 and 11/01/23 broken down by month.
3. How much money was recovered by debt collection companies for the ESB between 20/02/22 and 11/01/23.
4. The names of the companies used by the ESB for debt collection services.
5. A copy of any complaints the ESB received about debt collection companies working on behalf of the ESB

I would like to request all correspondence between senior management of ESB Networks DAC and the corporate entities controlling garage forecourts in Ireland. I wish to request correspondence which is specifically related to the price of providing connections to the distribution system for electric charging points. (In a nutshell I understand there has been discussion regarding the price ESB is charging garage forecourts nationally to install charging points for electric cars and I'm trying to request that documentation.)

 I wish the request to cover the period from January 1st, 2022 to the present day.

 

All correspondence between ESB and services stations (ie: petrol and diesel retailers) in the Republic of Ireland regarding the installation charging points for electric cars on forecourts. I would like this request to cover the period from January 1, 2021 and the present day. I would like the request to cover all letters and emails.

A copy of the DPIA associated with the collection of data on households through smart meters by ESB Networks.

I would like to request, under the Freedom of Information Act, all records and correspondence held by the ESB/between the ESB and tech companies about preparations, contingency planning and any other plans, strategies, concerns or discussions for potential blackouts this winter.

All data or correspondence relating to the site at the ESB sub station at Greenlea Grove, maps, site visit notes, emails in relation to the sale of the site, advice or opinions sought by the developer or between departments in ESB and or ESBN in connection with the original and subsequent planning applications and also during the development at the site, documentation of any assessments made by ESB on the plans for the hobby workshop or any other changes made under the original planning granted, requests for meetings at the site by the developer, subsequent summary notes of any meetings which may have taken place following onsite meetings, correspondence, if any, with the developer in relation to the painting of the sub-station or suitability of the site for development with any 3rd parties and any general communication which references this location e.g. legal department, engineers, security etc between 22 February 2022 and 10 October.

The official statement and official reasons why there was a power outage in Shelbourne Road Limerick on the 2 day of October 2022.

1. Since 2000 how many communications have you had from customers in relation to any and all concerns they have with TIMECLOCK ERRORS on the electricity meter supplied to them
2. Has there been an internal review of faulty or erroneous meter timeclocks supplied to customers since 2000, and can you provide a copy of this
3. In relation to customers who may have been overcharged, what is the procedure for addressing this?
4. In instances where customers may have been undercharged, what procedure do you follow
5. Where inaccurate equipment has been installed, has each customer affected been notified.
6. Can you outline how it may occur that faulty timeclocks have been installed, ie who is to blame for inaccurate timeclocks.

Please can you let me know whether it's possible to provide the infrastructure for the distribution network (cables, overhead lines, substations) in GIS format under the information requests?

1. Does the ESB provide a discount or subsidy to employees on their gas and/or electricity bills?
2. If so how many employees are entitled to it?
3. How is the discount calculated - ie is it a fixed amount per employee and if so what is that fixed amount?  Or is it a percentage of the total bill?  Or is it some other method?
4. How much did the discount cost the company for the last full financial year?  Will the cost of the discount to the company increase in line with increases in energy prices?

1. Access under 2014 Act to details of suppliers of area maps for Sligo town used on ESB Networks website. The query also seeks date of Sligo map currently used on website and seeks date of its most recent revision.
2. Access under 2014 Act to any corporate description, internal or external, as how/why Martin Savage Terrace is excluded from such maps. When did this exclusion commence?

Records that show the number of electricity disconnections undertaken by ESB Networks under direction of suppliers for a non-payment of debt, from 1 January 2019 to date, and broken down by:

i. month if possible -- so for Jan 2019, Feb 2019, March 2019 -- and if not by quarter and also by residential and non-residential connections each month

iii. and I would like the figures broken down for Co. Dublin, and outside of Co Dublin
