In 2018 Bord Pleanala approved TA04.301197. It was for a housing development on route L3004 in Glounthaune. As part of the approval, the developer (O'Mahony Developments, Clash, Cork T45 S382) was to provide a cycle path from the development (Harper's Creek) to Glounthaune railway station. Lighting was to be provided on the cycle path and also to two pedestrian crossings (Toucan). The cycleway and crossing at Harper's Creek were completed and are fully operational. The other crossing at the railway station was completed put has never been activated due to having no electricity supply.

I am trying to find out why. To that end I would like the following information dating from 1 January 2018 to August 31, 2023.

  1. Copies of all communications that can be read, viewed or listened to between ESB and O'Mahony Developments in regard to the provision of electricity along the cycleway and crossings.
  2. Copies of all communications that can be read, viewed, or listened to between ESB and Cork County Council in regard to the provision of electricity along the cycleway and crossings.
