Dear Customer,

ESB Networks, in its capacity as Distribution System Operator, today is publishing for consultation the draft, ESB Networks Distribution Annual Performance Report 2021, which will cover ESB Networks Distribution Network activities for 2021. The report is intended to provide customers, industry participants and other interested parties with a clear, accessible, comprehensive, but non-technical report on Distribution performance in the calendar year.

Next Steps

The consultation period will run for four weeks and will close on the 23rd November 2022. When the consultation closes, ESB Networks will review and consider all the comments and publish a final version pending CRU approval.

CRU has approved Modification No. 52 of the Distribution Code, which incorporates additional content into the Distribution Code to facilitate the adoption of new Topology 1A.

The purpose of this paper is to provide applicants seeking to connect under the Group Processing Approach with a clear set of guidelines explaining the rationale behind and methodology in place for the connection charging process.

CRU has approved Modification No. 51 of the Distribution Code, which incorporates additional content into the Distribution Code to facilitate the adoption of Operational Notification processes as mandated by the RfG EU Network Code, and adoption of Operational Notification and Compliance processes as mandated by the DCC EU Network Code (Articles 31-42).
