Non-Personal Smart Meter Data

In its role as Data Systems Provider (DSP) as described within the Smart Meter Data Access Code, ESB Networks is required to publish Non-Personal Data Reports from data collected by all smart meters across the country.​​

To ensure smart meter data is ‘non-personal’ it must be altered or combined in such a way that the data can no longer be used to identify any individual customer. Safeguards are in place to ensure that the data cannot be be traced back to anyone.

ESB Networks began publishing Non-Personal Smart Meter Data Reports following the enactment of [SI XXX of 2025 in XXX, 2025].​
