When I am asked to shift my electricity consumption to a different time will it cost me money?

  • The 'Is This a Good Time?‘ programme will ask customers to shift their electricity consumption to times of the day when there is additional renewables on the network or to shift their electricity consumption from a time when there is constraint on the Network.
  • If you are signed up to the programme and your MRPN is linked then you will get rewarded with digital eGift Cards for taking action. 
  • If you would like to understand whether shifting your usage to these times would be more or less expensive, please check the current electricity tariff you have with your supplier.
