Which generator application form should I use, NC5 or NC5A?
If you know the make / model of the generator unit(s) when making your generator application, you should use the NC5 application form. This means that your technical study is carried out on the specified data provided in the NC5 application form. If you have not yet decided on the make/model of the generator unit(s) you can apply on the shortened application form (NC5A) and the study will be based on assumed data. Please note that the specified generator unit detail is required to be provided 1 year in advance of energisation via the NC5 application form. Any delay in providing the NC5 application form could result in delays to energisation.
