Under the Mini-generation application process, once ESB Networks is in receipt of the completed Mini-generation installation confirmation certificate, we will update your MEC and notify your electricity supplier.

As ESB Networks are not responsible for the purchase or sale of any electricity you will need to have an agreement with your electricity supplier to purchase the electricity exported.
