ESB Networks and EirGrid are consulting on the development of the PR6 TSO/DSO Joint Incentive Multi-Year Plan 2027–2030. The consultation seeks stakeholder views on the future development of Transmission System Operator (TSO) and Distribution System Operator (DSO) coordination to support the delivery of a secure, flexible and low-carbon electricity system. The Multi-Year Plan will set out the key priorities, workstreams and milestones that will guide joint TSO/DSO activities throughout the remainder of the PR6 regulatory period, supporting Ireland's energy transition, the integration of renewable energy and the adoption of new technologies. Building on the PR6 TSO/DSO Coordination Incentive, the plan will define how ESB Networks and EirGrid will work together to deliver whole-of-system outcomes and support the evolving needs of Ireland's electricity network between 2027 and 2030. The consultation will run from 20 July 2026 to 28 August 2026, providing stakeholders with an opportunity to contribute to the development of the plan before its submission to the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) in September 2026. Feedback received through this Call for Input consultation will help shape the final Multi-Year Plan before it is submitted to the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) in September 2026.
