Construction Safety

Working Safely

COVID-19 has changed our world and we must all take extra care to protect ourselves and others. Overhead electricity wires and underground services are some of the main construction hazards that can seriously impact the safety of workers and the public. As construction activity resumes, Utility owners (Electricity, Gas, Water and Telecoms), in conjunction with CIF, are reminding everyone of the dangers of working too close to overhead electricity wires or striking underground pipelines or cables.
